Paul S. Shaughnessy and Madeline A. Shaughnessy of Naples FL and formerly of Lexington MA entered into eternal rest on August 21, 2022 and September 17, 2022, respectively. Paul was 86 and Madeline was 80. They married 60 years ago and the proud parents of 2 sons and grandparents of 5.
Paul and Madeline were introduced by Paul’s mother and it must have been love at first sight, they were married a year later. True love can only describe their marriage, they were in separatable. They loved to play tennis and golf and spend time with their grandchildren.
Paul and Madeline leave behind their sons Paul D. Shaughnessy and Keith T. Shaughnessy, their daughter in-law Robin Muldoon, and five amazing grandchildren. Collin, Austin, Fallon, Hunter and Kayla. Paul and Madeline are survived by Madeline’s brother Paul Massaro and Paul’s brothers and sister Danny Shaughnessy and his wife Janet, Robert Shaughnessy, and Mary Alice Shaughnessy and her husband Brian Nalepka. Paul and Madeline will be together in heaven with Madeline’s Father and Mother Dominic and Annette Massaro and Paul’s father and mother Frank and Helen Shaughnessy, along with his oldest brother Frank and his wife Rita Shaughnessy, Barbara Shaughnessy and Joe Mike Shaughnessy.
A Service will be held at Douglass Funeral Home 51 Worthen Rd, Lexington, MA 02421 on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
